Zodiac
 
Wheel thrown from toasty speck stoneware and carved to illlustrate all 12 signs of the Zodiac.  Glazed in clear to show claybody (outer) and black obsidian (inner).  Yellow sun and "earth tones" on earth.
 
Inner wheel rotates (turntable included) so that the earth will pass through each sign of the Zodiac as the earth orbits the "yellow sun."
