Jacqueline Lincoln & Paul D'Aloise

October 21, 2017

The story behind the design...
What happens when a New Yorker spots a rare, beautiful unicorn in a popular Nashville establishment?  You may be wondering just what I am referring to!  One night Paul and his friends were enjoying drinks at a local Nashville pub when he saw Jacqueline, a native Nashvillian.  A native Nashvillian is somewhat rare and unique since there are only a handful of people who were born here and who are actually still living in the city.  As the story goes--Paul decided to approach Jackie and get to know her.  However, Jackie's friends told her to have nothing to do with him.  But, as any New Yorker knows, persistence is key to success and... Paul and Jackie have been together ever since.  Their wedding will take place on October 21, 2017 and they are looking forward to their honeymoon in Italy.
Jackie and Paul often visit Lockeland Table in East Nashville for dinner and drinks.  When I asked them what their favorite dish was, they both replied, "Everything!"  And so, they designed their custom tableware based on the different Community Line pieces used by Chef Hal at Lockeland.
They visited our studio and we discussed what they had in mind.  Jackie leaned towards white and gray and had one specific piece in mind that is quite unique.  This led to the design of Jacqueline's Everything Bowl--a bowl that's the perfect size for just about everything!  They selected a milk white satin glaze with clear rim as the base for the place setting.  The Everything Bowl mirrors the dinner plate design.  To complement the dinner plate and Everything Bowl, they selected a soft gray for the their salad/dessert plate.  The same color is combined with a dark steel gray on the serving pieces.
The pieces for this unique table setting are handcrafted and hand built with slight imperfections so that no two pieces are exactly the same.  The organic shape adds interest and an "D" is stamped on each one to personalize the set.  Paul and Jackie's dinnerware is a blend of New York, Nashville, and urban cool.
Pieces may be ordered individually or as a complete place setting of four pieces.  Serving ware is also available to complete the registry.  The couple has requested that items ordered be held at the studio for local pick up by Jackie and Paul.  No shipping charges will be applied to orders due to the local pickup.
